October 2007 - Using the combination of active coolers (heat sink and fan) together with thermoelectric modules, the uwe electronic GmbH offers a great solution to actively steer the temperature of any kind of component. Through changing the polarisation on the thermoelectric module active heating and cooling can be realised with this technology. Therefore a precise controlling and steering of the device temperature can me gained.

The combined unit of thermoelectric module and cooler can reach from the combined dimension of 20 x 20mm at 5VDC current up to 60 x 60mm at 12VDC current. The thermoelectric performance can vary in the span of 10W up to 35W. The fans included in our temperature management solution are especially designed for a high performance cooling as well as low noise (26dBA).

The mounting and thermal conducting on the device can be realised through thermal pads and special thermal adhesives.
