Beschreibung

The model UEBK-10741 constitutes a rather classic representative of spring-loaded battery probes. In order to perform a compression along its recommended work-travel of 1.27 mm, it only needs a little more than 1 Newton (1.08 N). With an increased force, the plunger can be pushed into the receptacle along its entire lengths of 1.52 mm. The total length of the battery probe at its relaxed state is 9.47 mm, whilst 2.24 mm of that value shape the upper visible part of the plunger that sticks out of the 7.23 mm long receptacle. The plunger itself has a diameter of 1.14 mm, and is centrally embedded into the receptacle with an own outer diameter of 1.37 mm. Inside the receptacle, the plunger is connected to the spring wire. In terms of used materials, the plunger consists of an especially hardened beryllium-copper-Alloy, while the cylindrical-shaped receptacle is crafted out of a nickel-silver-alloy. Finally, both components are covered with a thin layer of gold

With a minimum grid of 1.91 mm, the UEBK-10741 is already fit for its usage in a broad range of applications. It can easily be obstructed onto circuit boards within the fields of process-technology and medical-technology. There, it reliably performs its task of conveying a common current of 3 Amperes while maintaining a comparably low contact resistance of less than 30 mΩ.
