Test Socket are used in the semiconductor industry for testing of ICs (Integrated Circuits). The test sockets are used as a mechanical test socket for testing large numbers of components. The test socket is made of a plastic base body, which is populated with spring contacts. All test sockets are custom designed and manufactured. Test Sockets are suitable for testing of BGA, QFN, QFP, WLCSP, FC, PGA, SOIC packages. PoP (Package on Package) modules can be tested with test sockets, too.
