Beschreibung

Except for a little detail, the spring-loaded battery probe UEBK-11271 has the exact same geometry as the model UEBK-11267. The mentioned detail refers to an additional existence of a concentrically inserted drill-hole at the bottom end of the contact-receptacle. This drill-hole has a diameter of 0.64 mm, and is a direct result of the galvanization step during its production process.


Its total height divides itself into 7.23 mm of receptacle height and 2.24 mm of visible probe head height. The cylindrically shaped, spring-loaded plunger piece, of a thickness of 1.14 mm, is precisely inserted into the receptacle, which itself has an outer diameter of 1.37 mm. Thus, a minimal operation grid of 1.91 mm is recommended for this battery probe. When active, the gold-covered battery probe safely transfers an average current of 3 Amperes. In doing so, a natural contact resistance of less than 30 mΩ is generated. It is further suggested to drive the plunger-head with a vertical force of 1.99 Newton, in order to initialize the recommended spring deflection of 1.27 mm, create the contact and guarantee a smooth operation. With increasing force, an increasing spring deflection of up to a maximum of 1.52 mm can be achieved. The according spring consists of quality stainless steel and is reliably connected to beryllium-copper plunger-head at the inside of the nickel-silver-receptacle.


This model can easily be utilized in all kinds of applications, for example when constructing hand-held charging devices, modern wheel-chairs, and diverse versions of prostheses.
