Beschreibung

The spring-loaded battery probe UEBK-11322 is a universally applicable representative of electronic components of the type THT. With a total height of 8.26 mm this battery probe is easy to integrate into all different kinds of applications. A portion of 2.29 mm is allotted to the visible part of the plunger, which at the same time constitutes the full travel of the battery probe. Moreover, a flange ring of a diameter of 2.79 mm and a thickness of 0.51 mm is mounted onto the receptacle, as additional fitting aid, being vertically centred at a height of 2.775 mm above the foot. The flange ring also separates the pin-shaped receptacle into a top section of the height of 2.96 mm, and a section below of the height of 2.52 mm, both having an outer diameter of 1.37 mm. The minimum applicable grid of this probe has a value of 3.18 mm.

Within applications, it is recommended to operate the spring-loaded contacting pin, which itself consists of a diameter of 0.76 mm, over a travel distance of 1.52 mm. In order to achieving this, a comparably small amount of vertical force, being 0.65 N in numbers, onto the very top of the spherically rounded plunger-head must be applied. During operation, it conducts a nominal current of 10 Amperes through the battery probe while only having to bridge a contact resistance of always less than 10 mΩ.
The UEBK-11322 is composed of three components, the receptacle, the plunger, and the spring. In more detail, the receptacle is made of hardened copper-beryllium-alloy, where else contacting-plunger consists of a special nickel-silver-alloy. Inside the mentioned receptacle, the latter is connected to the stainless steel spring, hence mounted in a moveable manner. In order to achieving a greater electrical conductibility both, the receptacle and the plunger, are covered with a fine layer of gold during manufacturing.
