Beschreibung

Regarding the size of the flange ring, the model UEBK-12001 represents a comparably slim version of battery probes. It can easily be mounted onto printed circuit boards with a minimum operation grid of 2.54 mm, which is equivalent to a tenth of an inch.

With a nominal length of 8.26 mm, a maximum diameter of 1.95 mm in the form of the mentioned flange ring, as well as a base diameter of 1.37 mm, the spring borne charging probe can comfortably be applied within most common applications. Extrinsically, the entire battery probe can vertically be divided into four sections. Moreover, a portion of 2.52 mm of that total height is allotted to the socket, additional 0.51 mm describe the thickness of the flange ring, the following 2.94 mm mark the upper part of the receptacle, which is lastly crowned by the remaining 2.29 mm in the shape of the spring-loaded plunger-head. The latter inherits a mean diameter of 0.76 mm, is spherically round at the very top, and is usually initiated with a force value of 0.65 N. The hereby covered travel-distance of the plunger, which itself is wired to the stainless steel spring at the inside of the receptacle, is 1.52 mm. If necessary, it can however be extended to the entire 2.29 mm of the plunger.

With regard to its electric properties, the UEBK-12001 is quite convincing, with being capable of transferring a stable current of 10 Amperes while keeping a maximum of 10 mΩ of generated contact resistance. A reason for that is the particular nickel-silver-mix, which serves as base material for the receptacle. This also counts for the hardened beryllium-copper-alloy that was used for the manufacturing of that contact plunger. The final step, the gliding of both components, ensures a smooth functionality of the finished product.
