Mica, polymid, silicone and polyester are available as supports for our flexible heaters for a temperature range of -200C to +400°C. The application field and the required temperature are decisive for the choice of the support.
Flexible heaters are used whenever reliable, flexible and targeted heating is required. They can be used with all usual suppply voltages.
The heating lines are mainly produced by etching involving features like short preheating time and a long life time.
The integration of the following equipment is essential for generating the right temperature:
- temperature sensor (e.g. PT100, thermo element)
- thermo saving
- miniature temperature controller
- integrated thermal circuit braker or thermal monitor
